Aaron Petersen’s Arm & Jason Givens’ Bat Lead the Arroyo Seco Sentinels to a 6-2 BOTW League Victory Over the IV Bucs

There is nothing more consequential in baseball than good pitching.

On Tuesday, the Arroyo Seco Sentinels defeated the Inland Valley Bucs, 6-2, in a Best of the West League game.

Four Seco pitchers (Jake Moore, Aaron Petersen, Eddie Cheong and Joe Jimenez) combined t0 strike out 12 IVB batters without issuing a single walk.

Aaron Petersen was credited with the win, going three scoreless innings and allowing three hits.

Petersen struck out five.

Bobby Hook singled, doubled and had one RBI.

Nate Slaman tripled and scored.

Robert Mansour walked, singled and scored.

Melchor Flores had an RBI single.

The Sentinels scored four runs off Joshua Morago, and one each against Robert Mansour and Bobby Hook.

Jared Bujanda singled and hit a solo HR.

Jason Givens singled, doubled and had a game-high three RBIs.

Cam Slessor walked, doubled and scored a pair of runs.

Bryce Cerminelli singled twice, doubled and scored.

Jake Trabbie walked, scored and had one RBI.

Taer Rodriguez walked, singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
