Boys Volleyball:
Five days after defeating Saddleback in four games in the CIF-SS Division 6 title match, the Wildcats hosted the Roadrunners in the CIF State Division 4 playoffs.
This time around, Monrovia swept Saddleback.
The Wildcats claimed victory by scores of 25-12, 25-20 and 25-22.
Up next: MHS will host Mar Vista of Imperial Beach on Saturday night at 6.
The Mariners (30-7) swept top-seeded Grossmont by scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-22.
