The defending Mission Valley League champions inched closer to another league title on Tuesday.
Marshall Fundamental claimed an 11-0, mercy-rule victory over Rosemead.
With two league games to play, the Eagles hold a one-game lead over second-place Arroyo, and a game and one-half advantage over third-place Mountain View.
Nico Banuelos got the loss, allowing 11 runs (seven earned) on seven hits.
Banuelos went 3 2/3 innings, walked eight and struck out one.
Devan Kelly singled, tripled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Jacob Hernandez doubled and drove in three runs.
Conrad Hunziker singled and scored twice.
Andrew Quijada had two singles and scored a pair of runs.
Nick Chew and Travis Delgado doubled, scored and drove in a run apiece.
Caleb Delgado scored and had an RBI.
Ryan Pandullo and Wes Pendleton scored one run each in Tuesday’s win.
Travis Delgado went four innings to earn the win.
Delgado allowed just one hit, walked two and struck out nine Rosemead batters.
Conrad Hunziker closed out the win by striking out the side in the top of the fifth inning.
Nico Banuelos had the Panthers lone hit.
Up next: Marshall will host Cathedral on Saturday morning in a nonleague contest.
The first pitch is slated for 10.
They won’t resume league play until April 26th, when they travel to South El Monte.
