Bonita, the Palomares League’s first place program, had a highly successful week.
The Bearcats went 3-0-1, including a pair of Palomares League wins.
And Brooklyn Shroyer dominated in the circle.
On Tuesday, Shroyer was just one out away from a perfect game in a 3-0 victory at Colony.
She didn’t walk anyone and struck out 15 Titans’ batters.
Two days later, Shroyer went the distance in a five-inning, 10-0, mercy-rule victory over Alta Loma.
She allowed just one hit, didn’t issue a walk and struck out eight Braves’ batters.
Bonita would go on to defeat Arleta, 11-1, in the first of two games on Saturday.
And finished the week in a 5-5 tie with Venice.
Shroyer did not play in either of Saturday’s games, but she’ll be back in action on Tuesday, when the Bearcats travel to second-place Ayala.
