Quotable:

Charter Oak coach, Elias Chavez: “It was a great bounce back week, especially for our offense. We’re looking to keep it rolling with some tough nonleague opponents coming up.”

Charter Oak senior, Evan Avitia: “This sweep was very important for us. We absolutely needed these two wins to get back to even in league and back over .500 on our overall record. These two games really fired up the guys and only made the guys hungrier. It felt great to help the team out on the mound and in the batter’s box. Our bats are hot right now and we’re only going to build on it.”
