Boys Volleyball:
It hasn’t been the start La Salle was hoping for.
The Lancers finished the nonleague portion of their schedule with a record of 3-9.
La Salle, however, opened Del Rey League play Thursday in a big way.
The Lancers rebounded from a two-set deficit to outlast visiting St. Anthony in five games.
La Salle won by scores of 23-25, 22-25, 25-14, 25-20 and 15-11.
Robert Raymundo led the way with 11 kills.
Eamon Bins chipped in with nine kills and five blocks.
Will Lieberg contributed 29 assists in the win.
Up next: La Salle will travel to Cathedral on Tuesday night.
The start time is 6 p.m.
