Baseball:
After opening up Palomares League play with a loss at Bonita two weeks ago, Ayala has won four consecutive and finds itself atop the league standings.
Since that two-run setback, the Bulldogs now have wins over Alta Loma, Claremont, Glendora and Colony.
Ayala defeated the Titans, 5-1, on Thursday afternoon.
Bryan Yang got the win after going the first 4 1/3 innings, and allowing one run on four hits.
He walked two and struck out five.
Randy Limon got the final eight outs, half of which came via strikeout.
Jacob Pulido singled and doubled for Colony, and Domenic Gonzalez had an RBI double.
Mac Willis walked twice and scored.
Johnny Barrientos got the loss, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits.
Barrientos worked 4 2/3 innings, walked two and fanned one.
Marcus Galvan doubled twice, scored and had an RBI.
Ty Borgogno and Anthony Dominguez singled and scored one run each.
Vinny Hudson singled and drove in a run.
Andrew Torres singled and scored, and Aiden Erlandsen walked and scored in the win.
