Chino Hills would score four seventh-inning runs, but the Vikings held on a for 6-4 victory.
Batres allowed three hits, walked three and struck out four CHHS batters.
It took three Vikings’ pitchers to get the final three outs, but Dean Curley came in and got the last out and earned the save.
