Boys Volleyball:
Maranatha opened its 2022 season with a sweep of visiting Rio Hondo Prep.
The Minutemen won by scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-17.
Lucas Da Costa led the way with 12 kills.
Alec Smith chipped in with eight kills.
And Bryan Chi contributed five aces.
Up next: Maranatha will travel to Arcadia on Friday.
