Salgado’s 24 Points & 10-of-10 Effort From Free-Throw Line Leads SDHS to 64-59 Victory Over Wiseburn Da Vinci in Second Round of D-4AA Playoffs

It would appear that Zaye Salgado did not want his high school career to end on Tuesday night.

The San Dimas senior had a game-high 24 points in the Saints’ 64-59 victory over Wiseburn Da Vinci in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 4AA playoffs.

Salgado also went 10-of-10 from the free-throw line, including a pair with 24 seconds remaining to put the game on ice.

He finished with three rebounds, three assists and a pair of three-point baskets.

Nathan Kester had 10 points and three rebounds.

Jayce Johnson led the Wolves with 23 points.

Aaron Park chipped in with eight points, three rebounds and four assists.

Braeden Zemetra contributed eight points, nine rebounds and three assists.

Up next: San Dimas will travel to Fullerton on Friday.

The Indians (15-14) defeated Rio Mesa, 62-45, in their second round game.

The tip is set for 7.
