Girls Soccer:
Marshall Fundamental won its 13th consecutive game on Saturday.
The Eagles got single goals in the first and second half and defeated Windward, 2-0, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 5 playoffs.
Skylar Atacador gave Marshall a 1-0, first-half lead when she scored off of an assist by Esmeralda Jaquez.
With 30 seconds to play, Jaquez returned the favor and assisted on a Jaquez score.
Kaiya Jota blocked seven shots in goal.
Up next: The Eagles travel to Covina on Wednesday.
The game is set for 5.
The Colts edged Bolsa Grande, 1-0, on the road.
