Boys Basketball:
Pasadena saw its season come to an end in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 2AA playoffs.
The Bulldogs fell, 70-62, at Simi Valley.
Simi Valley’s Jack Benyshek scored 22 of his game-high 32 points in the first half.
And Benyshek was 6-of-7 from the free throw line.
Ryan Poole led Pasadena with 16 points, including a 7-of-9 effort from the charity stripe.
Jason Guyton had 15 points, and converted on four 3-point baskets.
Ethan Patterson chipped in with 13 points, and made three 3-pointers.
Drew Brown contributed nine points in Friday’s loss.
