La Salle Finishes Regular Season on 14-Game Win Streak; Lancers Get 16 Points From Ellie Chen in 44-36 Victory Over Cantwell Sacred Heart

Girls Basketball:

Talking about going into the playoffs with some momentum.

La Salle defeated visiting Cantwell Sacred Heart, 44-36, on Friday.

The Lancers got 16 points from Ellie Chen.

La Salle has now won 14 consecutive games, including an 8-0 mark in Camino Real League play.

Audrey Chen had eight points, while Reese Wong and Ryann Riddle contributed seven points apiece.

Cantwell Sacred Heart was led offensively by Khaiya Chumley, who scored 14 points.

Leilony Cruz chipped in with 10 points for the Cardinals.

Up next: La Salle will find out its first-round playoff opponent on Tuesday at noon.
