Boys Basketball:
La Salle trailed by three points after the first quarter to visiting Salesian in Friday’s regular season finale.
But the Lancers outscored the Mustangs, 43-27 the rest of the way, and claimed a 53-40 victory.
La Salle finished as the Camino Real League’s third-place team.
Isaiah May led the way with 18 points.
Derek Peterson had 13 points, and Jason Patterson contributed 12 points in the win.
Up next: La Salle will find out its first-round playoff opponent on Tuesday at noon.
