Damien Earns Share of First Baseline League Title Since 2014-15 Season; Oladokun Scores 23 Points in Spartans’ 72-53 Victory at RCHS

Boys Basketball:

Damien closed out the regular season with its sixth consecutive victory and far more noteworthy, the Spartans won a share of their first Baseline League title since the 2014-15 campaign.

The Spartans picked up a 72-53 victory at Rancho Cucamonga.

Damien got a balanced effort offensively, as all five of their starters had eight points or more, and each hit a 3-point basket.

Jimmy Oladokun led all scorers with 23 points.

Spivey Word had 17 points, and RJ Smith contributed 15.

RCHS was led by Shadale Knight, who finished with 19 points.

Brandon Aguirre chipped in to the Cougars cause with 16 points.
