Boys Basketball:
Colony was able to run the Palomares League slate unscathed.
But it didn’t come easy.
The Titans finished the regular season 10-0 in league, thanks to a 57-51 victory at Ayala.
The Bulldogs finish 7-3, and will be no worse than a No. 2 seed out of the Palomares.
Glendora plays at last-place Claremont tonight (Friday), and with a win, the Tartans would join Ayala in a second-place tie.
But back to Thursday’s game.
Ayala’s Jermaine Rogers led all scorers with 20 points.
Boston Wilson had 10 points and Zack Murphy scored eight points for the Bulldogs.
Jaidyn Simpson had a team-best 16 points for Colony.
Jaden Henley contributed 15 points and Kollen Murphy had 12 for the Titans
Up next: Ayala will get their playoff pairing on Tuesday at noon.
