Boys Basketball:
Damien is on a Baseline League best five-game winning streak after Wednesday’s 69-38 victory at Los Osos.
With one game to play in the 2021-22 regular season, the Spartans share the Baseline League penthouse with Etiwanda.
Jimmy Oladokun had a game-high 27 points for Damien.
Kaleb Smith contributed 17 points and Spivey Word had 13 in the win.
Eric Shepard led Los Osos with 14 points.
Deacon Toliver scored 10 points and Nathan Mattera chipped in with six points for the Grizzlies.
Up next: Damien will finish out its regular season schedule on Friday, as they travel to Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.
