SDHS Holds its Share of First Place in VVL After Tuesday’s 49-35 Victory Over Charter Oak; Saints & Covina Have One Game to Play

Girls Basketball:

With Tuesday’s 49-35 victory over Charter Oak, the San Dimas girls basketball program is tied with Covina for the Valle Vista League top spot.

The Saints and Colts have one game left on their regular season.

In Tuesday’s win, Allison McGill and Janessa Rodriguez had 13 points apiece for SDHS.

Rodriguez also led San Dimas with six rebounds.

Priscilla Romero had eight points and a team-high five assists.

Only three Charter Oak players scored.

Cayla Williams had a game-high 15 points for the Chargers.

Lucia Revenga chipped in with 14 points in the loss.

Up next: San Dimas and Covina will both play their final game of the regular season on Thursday.

The Saints travel to Diamond Ranch and the Colts host West Covina.

West Covina defeated Covina (44-39) in their first-round of league play.
