Girls Soccer:

In the next to last game of the regular season, West Covina was on the road as they faced off Northview.
The first 10 minutes of the game were fast paced, as Northview pressed high up the field.
The WCHS girls remained calm and played their game and passed the ball out of pressure.
Toward the end of the half, Aleena Alduenda combined with Leilani Soto, who found Hannah Lumbreras making a great run in the midfield.
She got past a Northview player and took a shot from 25 yards out and scored in the top left corner of the goal.
The second half was dominated by the Bulldogs.
They retained possession of the ball and created chances, but couldn’t find the back of the net again.
Natalia Portillo had another shutout in goal.
Up next: The Bulldogs will host Covina on Wednesday and Northview travels to Charter Oak.
