La Salle Wins Eighth Consecutive Game, Defeating Poly, 18-16; Audrey Turner Scores 7 Goals For First-Place Lancers

Girls Water Polo:

La Salle is heading into the playoffs on the highest of notes.

With one game remaining in the regular season, the Lancers are riding an eight-game win streak.

And thanks to its 18-16 victory over Pasadena Poly, La Salle is 9-0 in league play.

Audrey Turner led the way offensively with a team-best seven goals.

Turner also tallied two steals and an assist.

Savannah Robles had three goals and six assists.

Grace Kachmarsky contributed three goals, four assists and a steal.

Candice Cheung also chipped in with three goals of her own, not to mention six assists and three steals.

River Lee finished with two goals, four assists and six steals.

Monica Villasenor had 22 saves in goal for the Lancers.

Up next: La Salle will host second-place Flintridge Prep on Tuesday to close out the regular season.
