Girls Soccer:
With two games left in the regular season, Charter Oak finds itself in second place after Friday’s 2-1 victory in overtime at West Covina.
Madeline Traylor scored the first of her two goals in the second half.
The Chargers were trailing 1-0 with 10 minutes to play, and she was able to force overtime.
Traylor’s goal in OT was the difference.
Juliana Plaza assisted on Traylor’s first goal, and Kaylee Lu on the second.
Jadyn Sabatino had five saves in goal for COHS.
Up next: Charter Oak will host the VVL champs from San Dimas on Monday and Northview on Wednesday.
West Covina closes out the regular season with a road game at Northview on Monday and host Covina on Wednesday.
