Girls Basketball:
With just two games to go on their regular season schedule, Northview defeated Diamond Ranch, 64-40, on Friday.
The win got the Vikings to within one-half game of second-place San Dimas, and two games back of first-place Covina in the loss column.
Alana Diaz led the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Sammy Martinez contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Kristin Morella provided 13 points, five assists and four steals.
Up next: The Vikings travel to fourth-place West Covina on Tuesday night at 5.
