Girls Basketball:
Pardon the rust La Salle must have felt considering they hadn’t played in two weeks.
The Lancers, though, made the 26-mile drive to Panorama City, and defeated second-place St. Genevieve, 45-30, on Thursday evening.
It’s La Salle’s ninth consecutive victory and they improved to 3-0 in Camino Real League games.
The LSHS offense wasn’t as balanced as it tends to be, but the bottom line is “scoreboard.”
Ryann Riddle led the way with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Hannah Tolentino led St. Genevieve with 12 points.
Audrey Chen chipped in with 16 points for the Lancers.
Up next: La Salle will travel to St. Joseph on Saturday at 2.
