Girls Basketball:
Northview handed San Dimas its first Valle Vista League setback.
The Vikings used a 22-11 run in the fourth quarter to defeat the Saints, 63-49, on Wednesday.
Alana Diaz led the Northview attack with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Sammy Martinez chipped in with 14 boards and 13 rebounds.
Kristin Morella contributed nine points and four assists in the win.
Olivia Romero led San Dimas with 12 points and three steals.
Allison McGill had 10 points and a pair of assists.
Jaelyn Ramos finished with eight points, nine rebounds and three assists.
And Janessa Rodriguez contributed eight points, eight rebounds and three steals.
Up next: SDHS and NHS will be in action on Friday.
San Dimas travels to Covina and Northview will host Diamond Ranch.

Northview coach, Danny Silva: “Our girls executed the game plan perfectly. We knew they were going to go to their 1-3-1 half-court trap and we moved the ball well and got the ball to our bigs (Alana & Sammy), who dominated inside. We kept Janessa off the boards as best as we could and limited her second-chance points.
Our girls did it all. I just stood there and clapped. San Dimas is tough and there’s a reason why they were undefeated in league. Much respect to Coach Jackson and his program.”
