Girls Soccer:
It took their offense longer to get going as they would have liked, but West Covina scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat visiting Diamond Ranch, 2-0, on Monday.
West Covina’s first goal came on a header from Sanaa Turner off of a Hannah Lumbreras free kick,
Turner wasn’t done yet.
A couple of minutes later, she got the ball, dribbled past a pair of defenders and scored her second goal with her left foot.
Up next: The Bulldogs travel to Diamond Ranch on Wednesday for its 5:15.
