Boys Basketball:
After taking an eight-point lead into the half, Walnut exploded in the third quarter and cruised to a 70-45 victory at Rowland.
The Mustangs outscored the Raiders, 32-11, in the decisive third quarter.
Walnut improved to 3-1 in Hacienda League games, which currently has them sitting in second place.
Ryan Win and Ramadan Ibrahim scored 15 points each in the win.
Malik Khouzam chipped in with 10 points.
And Adrian Triplett contributed six points and 10 rebounds for Walnut.
Up next: The Mustangs host South Hills today (Saturday) at 4.
