Boys Basketball:
San Dimas took a 24-point lead into the fourth quarter, and defeated West Covina, 62-46, in Friday’s Valle Vista League contest.
Ethan Chavez had 12 points, including a 2-of-4 effort from behind the 3-point line.
Chavez also tallied two rebounds and three steals.
Aaron Park contributed eight points, seven rebounds and six assists in the win.
And Braeden Zemetra finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Matthew Jimenez led WCHS with nine points, while Shawn Daher and Ben Pho chipped in with eight points apiece.
Nathan Maggiore and Jordan Nacpil contributed six points each for the Bulldogs.
Up next: West Covina hosts Charter Oak tonight (Saturday) at 6:30.
San Dimas travels to Northview on Wednesday.
