Girls Basketball:
Another Prep League game.
And another victory for Flintridge Prep.
The Wolves, who hadn’t played in three weeks, opened the new year with a 54-46 victory at Pasadena Poly.
It is their 70th consecutive Prep League win.
The Panthers, who were led by Paige Lim’s 29 points, actually held a tw0-point lead after the first quarter, but Prep used 14-7 & 12-5 runs in the second and third quarters, respectively, to take control.
Ashley Chea had a game-high 35 points and eight rebounds.
Kassidy Huie chipped in with six points and seven boards.
Up next: Prep was scheduled to play at Westridge on Thursday night, but the Tigers have already forfeited the contest.
So, the Wolves will at Rio Hondo Prep on Friday afternoon.
