Burroughs Closes Strong to Defeat Pasadena, 62-60, in Tuesday’s Pacific League Contest; Jason Guyton Led PHS w/18 Points

Boys Basketball:

For the first time in six years, Pasadena High School has two Pacific League losses.

The Bulldogs dropped a 62-60 decision to visiting Burroughs on Tuesday night.

PHS (3-2) currently sits in fourth place in the Pacific League standings.

Burroughs closed out the game on a 19-11 run to nip the Bulldogs, 62-60.

Samuel Horning led the Burroughs offense with 18 points, and Desean Robinson chipped in with 14 points.

Jason Guyton paced the Pasadena offense with 18 points and Casey Barrett had 13 points in the loss.

Teddy Reyes and Fidel Cabrera both contributed 11 points each for PHS.

Up next: Pasadena will travel to Village Christian on Saturday night.
