Jimmy Oladokun Scores 23 Points in Damien’s 76-57 Victory Over Chino Hills in Baseline League Play

Boys Basketball:

For the first time since December 30th, the Damien basketball program was in action.

The Spartans opened Baseline League play with a 76-57 victory over their visitors from Chino Hills High School.

Damien (18-1) tied Vista Murrieta for most points the Huskies have surrendered all season.

Jimmy Oladokun led DHS with 23 points.

Spivey Word scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half, as the Spartans took a 46-29 lead into the break.

William Gillins had a game-high 24 points for Chino Hills.

Logan Jereczek had 10 points, while Justin Bellamy and Jaycob Parson chipped in seven points each for the Huskies.

RJ Smith contributed 15 points for Damien and Kalen Smith had 10.

Up next: The Spartans travel to Upland on Monday, with an early tip of 3 p.m.

Chino Hills will host Los Osos on Tuesday night.
