Girls Basketball:
It had been 16 days since La Salle had last played a game.
And on Saturday, the Lancers dressed just five players, because of injuries and the Covid protocol.
But La Salle would not falter, defeating Newbury Park, 44-22.
The Lancers improved to 14-2.
Avery Ward tied for a game-high in points (12), and she tallied 12 rebounds in the win.
Ryan Riddle had 12 points of her own.
Alanna Young led Newbury Park with 11 points.
Audrey Chen contributed 11 points for La Salle.
And Kaden Cortes chipped in with nine points.
