Holy bleep!

Pasadena picked up its first Pacific League victory of the 2021-22 season, and did so in the most unusual and impressive way.

PHS had two players foul out, so the Bulldogs had just four athletes on the court for part of the third period and all of the fourth.

Pasadena edged Arcadia, 58-56, on Friday.

Christine Manoukian (24) and Olivia Hodges (20) combined for 44 of PHS’ 58 points.

Danielle Matthews chipped in with 12 points in the win.

Shirley Freeman paced the Apaches with 16 points.

Up next: PHS and Arcadia will be off until next Thursday.

The Bulldogs will host Hoover and Arcadia will travel to Glendale.
