Girls Basketball:
The Glendora-Rancho Cucamonga showdown on Wednesday was, for all intents and purposes, over just a few minutes into the game.
The Tartans outscored the Cougars, 17-4, in the first quarter, and then a 33-1 second-quarter advantage allowed the Tartans to get playing time for everyone.
Hailey Schaffer led the way with 27 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Rylie Anderson chipped in with 14 points and eight steals.
Kennedy Herrmann added 11 points and six steals.
Up next: GHS will meet up with Summit on Friday at 8 in the semifinal round.
Paramount & Covina will meet up in the other semifinal game.
