Girls Athletes of the Week:
After seven days away from competition, the La Salle girls basketball program won three of their four games this week.
The Lancers defeated El Segundo on Tuesday.
One day later, Hart handed La Salle its first loss of the season, 46-43.
La Salle, however, closed out the week with victories over Highland on Friday, and Birmingham on Saturday night.
Freshman Kaden Cortes and sophomore Audrey Chen led the Lancers in scoring two times apiece.
Cortes finished the week with 51 points and Chen had 56.
La Salle is now 6-1.

La Salle 46, El Segundo 27: Cortes 14 points & three rebounds, & Chen 13 points & nine rebounds
Wednesday:
Hart 46, La Salle 43: Chen 16 points & three rebounds, & Cortes 12 points & three assists
Friday:
La Salle 52, Highland 37: Cortes, 16 points, & Chen 11 points
Saturday:
La Salle 45, Birmingham 30: Chen 16 points, & Cortes 10 points
