Girls Basketball:
The queens of the Prep League were up to their old tricks on Saturday.
Flintridge Prep won its 67th consecutive game, and it was over just a couple minutes after the tip.
The Wolves outscored Chadwick, 29-3, in the first quarter, and breezed to a 67-18 victory in the Prep League opener for both programs.
Ashley Chea scored 14 points and 10 assists in limited minutes because of the blowout.
Amadi Weser chipped in with 12 points and Maddie Chiu contributed nine points in the Wolves victory.
Angie Tsuboi scored 12 of Chadwick’s 18 points.
Up next: The Wolves will host Westridge on Friday in the second Prep League game of the season.
The tip is set for 6:30.
