Boys Basketball:
After losses last week to St. Francis and Crescenta Valley, Walnut has won back-to-back games and improved to 5-2.
The Mustangs jumped on Bellflower early and cruised to a 73-31 victory.
Walnut took a 20-point lead into the second quarter and never looked back.
Malik Khouzam actually equaled the Bucs offensive output with 31 points of his own.
Khouzam also had five assists and three steals.
Ramadan Ibriham chipped in with 14 points and six rebounds.
Gavin Ibrahim added 11 points in the win.
Adrian Triplett finished with seven points and six rebounds.
Ryan Win contributed six points and five assists.
Up next: Walnut meets up with St. Anthony of Long Beach on Monday in the Winter Classic.
