Girls Basketball:
La Salle won its fifth game in six tries after defeating Highland, 52-37, in a Friday evening contest.
Freshman Kaden Cortes continued the remarkable start to her high school career with a game-high 16 points.
Reese Wong and Audrey Chen chipped in 11 points apiece for the Lancers.
Eriel Banks led Highland with 11 points.
Lola Mercado finished with eight points for the Bulldogs.
Up next: The Lancers will be in action today (Saturday) against Birmingham.
