Marshall Fundamental Dominates Westridge, 9-0, in Thursday’s Nonleague Contest

Girls Soccer:

The Marshall Fundamental girls soccer program couldn’t have been more balanced.

The Eagles pummeled Westridge, 9-0, in a nonleague road game to improve to 2-0 on the new season.

And they got goals from eight different players.

Esmeralda Jaquez had two scores on Thursday.

The Eagles scoring came in this order.

Delilah Vasquez, Cadence Fisher and Brianna Marquez scored the first three goals, respectively.

Angely Puga scored thanks to a Brianna Marquez assist and the lead increased to 4-0.

Suzel Favela found the back of the net and then Esmeralda Jaquez made it 6-0, in a goal that was assisted by Skye Atacador.

Kaia Jota, Mary-Ann Ballard and Esmeralda Jaquez closed out the scoring for Marshall Fundamental.

Up next: The Eagles travel to South Pasadena today (Friday) for an afternoon showdown with the Tigers (0-1).
