For all intents and purposes, West Covina put the game away in the first quarter.
The Lady Bulldogs had a seven-goal lead at Baldwin Park, and cruised to a 24-2 victory.
Genesis Moradel led the way with seven goals.
Salma Valle and Aliana Solorzano each scored four goals.
Kassidy Lu scored her first three goals of the season in the win
Madison Vasquez and Victoria Tu chipped in with two goals apiece.
Alyssa Navarro scored once.
Sam Guerra blocked four of the six shots she encountered, and WCHS improved to 3-2.
Up next: The Lady Bulldogs will battle Norte Vista (0-0) today (Friday) at the Saddleback Tournament.
