Boys Basketball:
Damien won its seventh consecutive game to start the 2021-22 season.
The Spartans took a 13-point lead into the half and held off St. Paul for a 65-58 victory.
RJ Smith had a game-high 21 points in the win.
Jimmy Oladokun and Kaleb Smith chipped in with 13 points apiece.
Danny Patton led St. Paul with 20 points and Jordan Williams had 14.
Up next: Damien will host Herperia on Friday at 6:30.
