Boys Basketball:
The writing was on the wall early for La Salle.
And the Lancers couldn’t have liked what they saw.
Canyon led 16-2 after the first quarter and cruised to a 72-46 victory over La Salle.
Brandon Boldroff had a game-high 16 points and Matt Heyne added 15 in the win.
Derek Peterson paced the La Salle offense with 15 points and Isaiah May had 11.
