But Flintridge Prep will certainly take it.
The Wolves handed Covina its first loss (29-27) on Monday, and improved to 2-3.
Before Monday, Covina’s lowest offensive output had been 59 points.
Ashey Chea led the way for Prep, having team highs in points (12) and rebounds (14).
Maddi Chiu added six points and three boards to the Wolves’ cause.
Miranda Morales had a game-high 13 points for Covina.
And Leilani Arguleta contributed nine points for the Colts.
Up next: Prep battles Marshall of Los Angeles today (Tuesday) at 1:30.
And Covina will also be in action today at noon.
The Colts face off with Garfield (2-1).
