Girls Basketball:
La Salle got off to a quick start in its 2021-22 opener.
The Lancers led 14-2 after the first quarter and cruised to a 45-19 victory at Flintridge Sacred Heart.
La Salle was led by freshman Kaden Cortes, who scored a game-high 16 points.
Audrey Chen added 11 points and Reese Wong had 9 points in the win.
Ryann Riddle, in her first game after missing last year with a knee injury, contributed eight points.
Faith Ellis led FSGA with six points.
Up next: La Salle will travel to Temecula on Saturday to take on Great Oak at 5.
The Tologs will battle Montclair on Saturday at 4:30.
