Considering she didn’t pick up a tennis racket for the first time until August of 2018, it’s incredible to see just how far Stella Hsieh has come.
The Maranatha No. 1 singles player has been the anchor for her father’s (Arthur Hsieh) program.
This past week alone, Hsieh went 6-0 in a pair of Olympic League (team) victories.
Hsieh won all three of her matches in a 14-4 victory over Heritage Christian to start the week.
And Stella ended it by sweeping her three opponents from Valley Christian.
The Lady Minutemen defeated the Defenders by a score of 10-8.
In each of her six matches (sets) this past week, none of Stella’s opponents could muster even a single game against the Maranatha junior.
Going back to last week, Hsieh actually went 3-0 against the Olympic League champions from the Geffen Academy.
