Girls Volleyball:
South Hills earned its spot in the CIF-SS Division 6 quarterfinals.
And they did so by defeating Don Lugo by scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-17 and 25-22 in Saturday’s second-round match.
The Huskies got a balanced effort, but Mia Delahoussaye continues to take her game to the next level.
Delahoussaye finished Saturday afternoon’s four-set victory with 26 kills and 13 digs.
Payton Wright contributed 14 kills and three aces.
Jaida Zuniga finished with 33 digs and Natalie Wei had 57 set assists.
Up next: The Lancers will travel to Hemet on Wednesday for a quarterfinal showdown with West Valley.
The Mustangs (16-7) swept Katella in their second-round match.
