Glendora clinched at least a share of the Citrus 4 League title after Friday’s 24-7 victory at Los Osos.
The Tartans will officially wrap up the league crown next week when they face off with winless South Hills.
Jack Norell’s 42-yard field goal in the second quarter got GHS on the board.
Zach Ford scored on TD runs of 33 and 29 yards.
Ford carried the ball 18 times for 202 yards.
Jake Denerson extended the GHS lead to 24-0 when he hit Christian Sampson on a 69-yard TD.
Denerson completed 8 of his 14 pass attempts for 124 yards.
Sampson caught three passes for 84 yards.
Los Osos quarterback Andrew Garcia scored on a 1-yard run midway through the fourth quarter to avoid the shutout.
Langston Taylor picked Garcia for the Tartans.
Up next: Glendora will close out the regular season against winless South Hills on Friday at Citrus College.
