Girls Volleyball:
Just a couple of weeks ago, Bonita held a two-game lead over second-place Glendora for the Palomares League’s top spot.
Since October 1st, however, the Bearcats went 1-3 to close out the regular season, and that included Wednesday’s four-set loss at Alta Loma.
Conversely, Glendora won their final seven matches, including a sweep at Claremont to claim the outright Palomares League championship.
The Tartans won by scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-17.
Gianna Perez had eight kills and 10 digs in the win.
Kylie Homan contributed seven kills and nine digs,
Maya Ashcraft finished with 15 digs and Kendra Gonzales chipped in with five kills.
