Girls Volleyball:
La Salle had a significant and satisfying weekend.
The Lancers persevered through a two-day event that included Chaminade, the No. 1 ranked program in CIF-SS Division 4, and claimed the Crescenta Valley Tournament title.
La Salle won two (Burbank & Eagle Rock) of their three matches on Friday, and the lone setback being a three-set loss to Venice.
One day later, however, and the Lancers would claim a two-set victory over the Gondoliers.
Aside from taking home the championship trophy, La Salle senior, Dani Thomas-Nathan, was named the tournament MVP.
Ashley Li earned all-tournament honors.
