Bryan Wilson Accounts for 5 TD’s in Ayala’s 42-7 Victory at Tustin; Bulldogs Improve to 5-0

Football:

Since its one-point victory (21-20) over Chino Hills in week zero, Ayala has found its stride on both sides of the ball.

The Bulldogs took and 21-point lead into the break and cruised to a 42-7 victory at Tustin.

Over their last four victories, including last night in Orange County, Ayala has defeated Los Altos, Diamond Ranch, Los Osos and Tustin by a combined margin of 159-35.

The Bulldogs had a 474-239 advantage in total offense on Thursday night.

Ayala’s sophomore stud, Bryan Wilson, had his best statistical game of the season.

The sophomore quarterback accounted for five total TD’s in the win.

Wilson completed 12 of 19 for 302 yards and three scores.

Wilson also used his legs to score a pair of rushing TD’s.

The Ayala ground game rushed for 172 yards on 27 carries.

CJ Sento scored on a TD run and Eddie Huerta led the ground game with 96 yards rushing.

Dominic Alloway had four receptions for 120 yards.

Drew Merrill caught a pair of passes for 96 yards and one TD.

Samuel Moran also caught a TD pass in the win.

The Ayala defense held the Tustin offense to just 46 yards rushing on 21 carries.

Up next: The Bulldogs will travel to winless La Habra (0-4) next Thursday.
