Boys Water Polo:
Saddleback made a trip out to the SGV from Santa Ana and edged West Covina, 11-9, on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs scored seven goals in the first and fourth quarters combined, but WCHS had just one goal apiece in the second and third periods.
Andrew Encarnacion and Zach Elhusseiny scored four goals each in the loss.
Matthew Vasquez netted his first goal of the season for the Bulldogs.
Ryan Diaz had nine saves in goal.
Up next: WCHS will travel to Santa Fe on Thursday afternoon.
